Samsung Vs Philips, Which One Should I Get?

I’m planning on buying a new TV in the very near future and am currently debating between:

and

I know that Samsung is a much better brand regarding TVs but seeing how the price is the same, and the Phillips TV is 9 inches larger (not to mention is also LED), I cannot decide as to which TV I should get between the two above.

I suggest you to purchase Samsung 46″ 1080p LCD HDTV because of its great picture graphics and contrast ratios. But just television cannot provides you a real entertainment. You should buy Google TV device with TV for unlimited entertainment.Check that HDMI port should be attached with television. With Google TV device, you can browse internet on TV and explore every thing on TV.You can also enjoy videos, music, you tube, games including sensor based games, android apps, movies etc.You can get pleasure of web browsing,TV and android apps on a same screen with Google TV device.I m user of Google TV device last 7 months with no error.I m giving you a link, look it.

I’m not sure how Phillips TV’s are, I’ve always loved Samsung. However, the Philips seems to differ with specs in the following:
    1. It’s an LED LCD. These are the more modern TV’s and provide an excellent picture compared to just LCD.
    2. The response time is 2 ms instead of 4 ms. Not very noticeable, but Samsungs DO tend to lag with menus.
    3. The Samsung has a 250,000:1 contrast ratio compared to the Philips 132,000:1, meaning it’ll have much deeper and vibrant colors.
    4. The Phillips does not have Picture in Picture display, which isn’t really a big deal
    5. The Samsung comes with Dolby Digital Plus sound enhancement, so you’ll have way better speakers.
    6. The Samsung has 2 AV inputs instead of 1, and optical audio output, a stereo output, TWO USB ports, and ethernet port, a port for a WI-FI adaptor for internet use, it is DLNA certified which means you can use it as a Digital Media Player and use media devices that are also DLNA certified. The Phillips does not. (Should give it away by now ;) )
    7. The Samsung is 21.7 kg and the Phillips is 28.49 kg, that is with the stand of course.
Those are the notable differences. In my personal opinion always stick to Samsung with TV’s, and avoid their phones! Haha. I have pretty much the same Samsung TV, but it is 40″ and it has an amazing picture and great speakers for a flat screen. It also has tons of ports for multiple devices, so I’d highly recommend the extra ports if you want some entertainment. Hopefully this cleared up the comparison and you can make your decision. Good luck!
